Residence Halls: Mohn & New Hall
Residence Hall Amenities include: Complimentary Laundry, Kitchen, and Guest WiFi Access |
Custodial staff enters the Residence Halls daily for general maintenance, cleaning and trash removal. |
Guests are responsible for any damages caused to the room or room furnishings. |

Check-In
Check-in and key pick-up is available at Mohn Hall from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. each day.
- Guest groups may request or pre-arrange alternate check-in/key pick-up with Residence Life. Guests arriving between 11:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. should do the following:
- Call Public Safety (507-786-3666) 15 minutes before arriving on campus.
- Meet the Residence Life staff member at your assigned building (go to Mohn Hall if that is your assigned building).
- Mohn Hall is the Summer Hub for Residence Life
- 507-786-2507: Front Desk, 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
- Short-term parking is available adjacent to Mohn Hall.

Residence Hall Keys
- Each guest will be issued a Residence Hall Room Key that gives them access to their room. This key should only be used by the guest that it is issued to.
- Please notify Residence Life Staff immediately if you lose or misplace your key. There is a $150 key replacement charge if a key is lost.

Guest Housing ID
- Card access is provided either by a photo ID provided by your conference group or guests will be provided with a conference guest card.
- Please notify Residence Life Staff immediately if you lose or misplace your ID card or Conference card. There is a $50 replacement charge if an ID card is lost.

Check-Out
All guests must check out of their Residence Hall space at the end of their stay. Guests must:
- Remove all belongings from the room. Items left behind will be considered abandoned and disposed of immediately.
- Clean (do not defrost or unplug) the microfridge. Wipe down all surfaces and sweep or vacuum the space.
- Contact the front desk of your assigned building to check out of the room. The Residence Life staff member will document the room condition and collect your room key and guest ID.
- Residence Life staff cannot confirm charges at checkout. Any room damage charges are assessed after a secondary review of all documentation.
- Check-out outside of 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. must be pre-arranged with Residence Life. Contact the front desk of your assigned building within 72 hours of check-out to submit your request.
Campus Parking
- Guests bringing a vehicle to campus must apply for a parking permit. Guests are expected to park their vehicles in designated overnight guest parking lots.

facilities issues
- Maintenance Concern(s): Guests should place a work order for minor maintenance concerns (burnt out lightbulb, pests, etc.)
- Immediate Concerns: Large maintenance concerns (leaking toilet or sink, water leak, etc.) should be reported to Public Safety immediately at 507-786-3666.
Library
The library is open to guests whenever the library is open during the summer, and they are free to use any resource available. If a guest would like to check out an item, they would need to get a community member (also called a Bridge) card at the library circulation desk.
Athletic Center
Anyone who would like to use the facility will need to complete the waiver and pay the $50 fee. Once completed, guests will be added to the summer access list. Guests will need to present a valid picture ID to the front desk.
