Mohn Reslife Team 2025-26 AY
Jade: Hey everyone! My name is Jade Mac, and I’m the Student Hall Coordinator in Mohn Hall for the 2025–2026 year! I’m from the Bay Area, California, and came to St. Olaf through the Posse Foundation. I’m a junior social work major and an individual major in human sexuality and comprehensive sexual education, with concentrations in family studies and race and ethnic studies. I’m also a McNair TRIP scholar with goals of grad school, a doctorate, and continuing my journey in education. Outside of academics, you can find me at pickleball, badminton, rugby, one of my campus jobs, or hanging with friends, crafting, or watching movies. This year, I’m super excited to help create a caring community where everyone feels supported, because my favorite part of the hill is how willing people are to build meaningful connections!
Abed: Hi, my name is Abed. I’m a sophomore, and I grew up in Gaziantep, Türkiye. I’m excited to support first-year students as they start their college journey and help them feel comfortable on campus. One thing I love about living on The Hill is the welcoming environment and how easy it is to connect with others.
Omar: Hello, My name is Omar, I am a sophomore, and I am from Iraq. I am looking forward to helping and supporting first-years with moving into their college life. One thing I love about the Hill is that the Hill has sports fields and a gym where I can go there and do my exercise.
Tanzila: Hi, my name is Tanzila, a senior majoring in quantitative economics and concentrating in education studies! This year in Res Life, I’m looking forward to creating some fun and chill activities for students to enjoy. Additionally, something that I love about living on The Hill is that it is easy making friends with dorm neighbors!
Ali: Hi my name is Ali. I’m really looking forward to meeting new students this year and helping create a welcoming and supportive environment in our community. My goal is to make sure everyone feels at home on The Hill and has a positive start to their experience here. One of my favorite things about living on The Hill is the friendships I’ve made there’s always someone around to share a laugh, grab food with, or just hang out. I can’t wait to see those same connections grow for all of you!
