Equipment
The 3D printers available in the DiSCO are Bambu P2S printers. If you would like a 3D model printed, STL files are preferred.
- Please send the files to the DiSCO by using the Service Request form.
How soon can I get my print?
Completed printing jobs depend on the availability of printers, the order in which we received the request, and the print time. If the project needs to be completed by a specific date, it is recommended to submit the request at least a week in advance.
Colors
Requests for specific colors can be included, however, it may depend on the availability of the color at that time. We will do our best to fill color requests.

Design Software
Recommended design software for 3D printing:
- Blender should be available on most computers in the DiSCO. If the software is not available, ask a DiSCO student worker for assistence.
- TinkerCAD is a web-based program and can be used with your St. Olaf account.
Pre-Made Designs
Pre-made designs can be found on Thingiverse or Printables. It is a great resource to find designs and free files that are ready to print.
