An extended orientation for all students in their first year to equip them with the knowledge and tools to be successful at St. Olaf.
TRIO McNair
The TRIO McNair Scholars Program is a graduate school preparatory program funded by the U.S. Department of Education and sponsored by St. Olaf College. The TRIO McNair Program was founded in 1989 and initiated at St. Olaf College in 2007. Nationally there are 200 McNair programs working with over 5,000 students.
TRIO Student Support Services for Students with Disabilities (SSSD)
Student Support Services for Students with Disabilities (SSSD) is a federally funded TRIO college retention program serving 100 students per year. TRIO-SSSD helps students with disabilities develop the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue and successfully complete a college education by helping students focus on academic and personal development.
