FEATURED FAQ: PARKING AND WEATHER
Parking
Upon arriving on campus, feel free to park in any open parking space. There is usually adequate space near Buntrock Commons, Alumni Hall, Klein Field at Manitou, or in the parking lot closest to Skoglund Center. This fall Public Safety introduced new paid hourly parking in select parking lots. Please view the map for all parking options.
Rain Plan
It is our hope to have activities go on without interruption. However, in the case of severe weather, there are some events that will be moved inside or potentially cancelled. We will notify you through text with the number provided during registration and/or post signs around campus. You may also ask staff in Buntrock Commons about any changes.
William “Bill” Green ’77
This year at Homecoming and Family Weekend we are honoring William “Bill” Green ’77 and his legacy of service to St. Olaf students. As the longtime Director of Multicultural Affairs and Community Outreach (MACO) and Assistant Dean of Community Life and Diversity at St. Olaf, Mr. Green positively impacted the lives of countless Oles. The newly-opened Shop 1500 will be home to a permanent plaque honoring Mr. Green. All are welcome to join members of the Green family on Saturday afternoon for a short ceremony to dedicate the plaque and to honor Mr. Green’s legacy as an Ole Trailblazer.
The William E. Green Sr.
Endowed Scholarship
Established in 2024 with an initial investment of $50,000 by St. Olaf College, the William E. Green Sr. Endowed Scholarship will be awarded annually to a St. Olaf student with demonstrated financial need. Alumni, parents, and friends of the college are invited to make gifts to the scholarship in honor of Bill’s legacy of service to the St. Olaf community.
