- Posting a Position:
- Please start by completing this form: St. Olaf College – Requisition Intake Form
- If you answered ‘YES’ to having concerns about the current job description or that this is a new position, we will reach out to you to schedule a time to meet and discuss the job description.
- If you answered ‘NO’ to having concerns about the current job description, we will go ahead and submit your job requisition for approval. Once sent through the approval chain, the job will be posted on both our internal and external job boards.
Timeline: Please allow for this process to take up to 5 business days.
*Please keep in mind that the approval chain timeline can vary as this request has to go through typically 3-5 people.
- Interview Process:
- Once your job has been approved and posted, hiring managers are responsible for coordinating and executing the interviewing process. Please reach out to your Talent Acquisition team if you have any questions or concerns about this process. *Scroll down to find resources for candidates.
- Final Offer:
- Please let your Talent Acquisition team know that you are ready to extend an offer to a candidate. The Talent Acquisition team will execute this process along with ordering the appropriate background check.

4. Acceptance of Offer & Pre-Boarding
Once the offer is accepted by an applicant, mandatory background checks will be sent via HireRight.
Once the background check meets the Company Standards, pre-boarding will begin.
Please Communicate to the applicant their duty to come to Human Resources on their first day of work with appropriate documents to complete their I-9 Employment Verification (if applicable).
Once the employee’s I-9 Employment Verification is complete, other on-boarding taks will follow via OIS.
