IT offers support for video conferencing using Google Meet by providing training and video conferencing kits for checkout. While IT supports the use for Zoom and Google Meet for video conferencing – but any application that is compatible with the equipment can be used as needed (Skype, Go to Meeting, Adobe Connect, etc.) Some applications of video conferencing include:
- Bringing in guest speakers to the classroom or to participate in meetings/workshops from around the world
- Enabling students to collaborate with peers or professionals anywhere in the world
- Bringing in prospective employees for interviews
