Research Fellowship at the Kierkegaard Summer Institute
The Kierkegaard Library offers unpaid Research Fellowships for participation in the Kierkegaard Summer Institute on an annual basis during the months of June and July. The program welcomes junior and senior scholars, as well as advanced students enrolled in graduate programs. Undergraduates, recent graduates, and first-year graduate students are encouraged to apply to the Junior Research Fellows program at the Kierkegaard Summer Institute.
Research stays can vary from one to eight weeks. Participants gain access to resources of the Kierkegaard Library, and are provided with free on-campus housing.
Beyond use of the Library’s (and St. Olaf’s) physical and digital resources, Kierkegaard Summer Institute Research Fellows are invited into dialogue with the Library’s local and visiting community of scholars and students. Research Fellows participate in scheduled scholarly activities, such as research presentations, seminars, and close readings of Kierkegaard. Research Fellows may be invited to present their research during their stay.
