about the journal
The International Journal of Kierkegaard Research invites submissions of original works on any topic relating to Kierkegaard. We are open to a broad range of approaches, disciplines, and traditions, and we support efforts to build bridges between different schools of thought. As an international journal committed to fostering dialogue in Kierkegaard research around the globe, we welcome submissions from authors working in any country. We are committed both to promoting rigorous scholarship and to bringing in new voices and perspectives on Kierkegaard.
HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENTS
As of 2023, the Hong Kierkegaard Library’s Søren Kierkegaard Newsletter has been in existence for over 40 years (you can peruse it here in our archives). In 2024, we’re bringing the publication to a new platform as an open-access, peer-reviewed journal, making its contents available to students and scholars through libraries and other searches, and reshaping it in terms of content, depth, and reach. Among other things, we’ve introduced the new title International Journal of Kierkegaard Research.
