Health Insurance Overview

St. Olaf requires that all students enrolled at the College have adequate health insurance coverage.  This requirement is in place for the protection of our students.  If you are not covered under a comparable health insurance policy, you will be required to participate in the appropriate student insurance plan which will be offered through LewerMark/First Risk with St. Olaf College’s cooperation for the 2021-2022 academic year.

St. Olaf has one plan for our domestic students and one plan for our international students.  You can click the links below for more information on the two plans and the instructions to enroll and waive if you are eligible for a waiver.  The deadline to enroll or waive is Wednesday, September 22, 2021. You will be automatically enrolled and billed on your student account after this date.

Whatever your health insurance has been in the past, we encourage you to review your current health insurance policy with your parents to ensure that it sufficiently covers you while pursuing your academic interests at St. Olaf.
