Any student or student organization seeking to invite a speaker to campus must contact the Office of Student Activities. The Office assists in negotiating with outside talent to sign an agreement relating to their use of the College’s facilities. A minimum of 4 weeks is needed to complete this process.
Students are not authorized to sign contracts on behalf of St. Olaf College. To avoid personal liability for any contractual obligations, students may not enter into agreements with any non-St. Olaf entities and that any such legal agreements are reviewed and signed by personnel authorized to sign on St. Olaf College’s behalf.
