EMERGING LEADER AWARD

​​The Emerging Leader Award is given to five first-year or sophomore students who have displayed significant engagement and investment in cultivating community at St. Olaf. Recipients will have demonstrated commitment to various aspects of the student experience on campus and have reflected on their continued personal growth as a leader.

ESTABLISHED LEADER AWARD

​​The Established Leader Award is given to five juniors or seniors who have displayed significant engagement and investment in cultivating community at St. Olaf. Recipients will have demonstrated commitment to various aspects of the student experience on campus and have reflected on their continued personal growth as a leader.

STUDENT ORGANIZATION OF THE YEAR AWARD

The Student Organization of the Year Award is presented to a student-led organization. The organization will have demonstrated commitment to its mission. Any student organization that is registered with the Student Government Association and is in good standing (both financial and otherwise) is eligible for this award.

CAMPUS IMPACT AWARD

The Campus Impact Award is presented to an individual student who has demonstrated outstanding involvement and strong dedication to the St. Olaf campus, fostering a positive impact on those around them.

COMMUNITY IMPACT AWARD

The Community Impact Award is presented to an individual student who has demonstrated outstanding involvement and strong dedication to the greater Northfield community through their service and volunteerism, fostering change.

STUDENT ORGANIZATION ADVISOR OF THE YEAR AWARD

The Student Organization Advisor of the Year Award is presented to a staff or faculty member serving as an advisor for a student group on campus who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to and investment in their student group through fostering both the advancement of the group’s mission and campus community impact, as well as the leadership development of group membership.

THE BILL GREEN AWARD

The Bill Green Award is awarded to a staff member for their contributions to the student experience. The award is presented in honor of former Director of Multicultural Affairs and Community Outreach (MACO) and an Assistant Dean of Community Life and Diversity William “Bill” Green’s commitment to students during his more than 25 years of service at St. Olaf College.

THE GERTRUDE HILLEBOE AWARD

The Gertrude Hilleboe Award is awarded to a faculty member for their contributions to the student experience. The award is presented in honor of Professor of Latin and Dean of Women Gertrude Hilleboe’s commitment to students during her more than 40 years of service at St. Olaf College.

DAVE HAUCK AWARD

Given in recognition of academic achievement, community service, and athletic excellence, the Dave Hauck award is the top honor for St. Olaf senior student-athletes.
