Following finals, this event is the perfect opportunity to let loose and dance the night away to the classic hits played by the talented band, Riverside Hitmen. Located in the heart of Northfield, this event promises to be an exciting evening of music and excitement with friends! Transportation will be provided.

The Class of 2026 Last Lecture will be delivered by Assistant Professor of Biology and Environmental Studies Jake Grossman and the Class of 2026 Parting Words remarks will be delivered by Director of Student Activities Brandon Cash. Come gather together to hear some words of advice and well wishes from your selected speakers!

We’re throwing a Carnival on the Quad that’ll have you laughing, eating, and playing all afternoon long! We have classic fair foods like cotton candy and inflatables for you to bounce around in! There’s no shortage of fun to be had! It’s time to let loose and create unforgettable memories as we celebrate the Class of 2026.

Illumination Ceremony – 9:00 PM

This annual ceremony honors our graduates as they transition to become a members of the St. Olaf alumni community. The class lanterns are placed on the Campus Green on Friday, and we encourage students to locate their personalized lanterns sometime during the day, leaving them in place until after the ceremony. At the end of the evening’s program, students can take their lanterns as a remembrance of their time on the Hill. This event is free and open to the public.
