To me wellness is about bringing all of the parts of my life into harmony. Only when all of the parts of me (physical, emotional, spiritual, sexual, etc.) are working together can I focus on achieving my goals without compromising my happiness.

My go-to coping strategies are journaling, meditation, and any type of movement!!

For me, wellness means making healthy lifestyle choices that positively impact your wellbeing. It is a process, and progress isn’t always linear!

My go-to coping strategy is going on walks. I love going with friends, but a nice walk alone around town is so wonderful!

Wellness is finding a balance between all the areas of my life, work on them constantly, and keep discovering myself. I think wellness for me is also being aware of how I interact with others as the social is such an important part of our own and others lives.

My go-to coping strategy is to spend time with friends talking, playing volleyball or just existing when I feel like it, and being aware when my body and mind need a rest, and distance from people as well.

To me, wellness means taking care of yourself in all of the ways you can imagine, whether it be your physical, mental, sexual, or spiritual health. Wellness is about prioritizing your needs and being aware of what you can do to be the best version of yourself. It is so important to take your personal health into account as you go about your day in order to maintain a stable life balance.

Wellness is such a broad term, but to me it is a multi-faced word that encompasses the health and the act of feeling like your most whole self. Of course being well is a journey and takes practice. I think many categories can fit under the umbrella of wellness. These categories include mental, spiritual, social, sexual, physical, intellectual, substance use and many others. While being a So/An major as well as a Substance Coach I’ve realized that all people have their ways of perceiving and practicing wellness.

My go-to coping strategy can vary depending on the situation. I often get overwhelmed and anxious. In those moments I like to have 5 grounding sense practices. For example, I will notice a smell, taste, feeling, sound, and sight. I can focus on these individually to ground myself. Like fidgeting with the knots in a knit blanket. Another resource that I find helpful is my support system. I am lucky enough to have family and friends that are there for me to process hard times.

Wellness is the overall wellbeing of a person based on every area of wellbeing. Wellness is a journey to achieve and is not linear, but something to work on everyday.

To me, wellness means finding ways to incorporate the things that make you feel good, and that align with your values, into your life. Wellness is a way of life that supports you emotionally, physically, and mentally, and it looks different based on what is important to you.

Some of my go-to coping strategies include yoga, listening to music, doing a craft, and journaling.

To me, wellness means feeling balanced and at peace most of the time, and knowing you have the tools and support system needed to bring you back to that peace when something disrupts it.
