Schedule a Headshot
A good professional headshot is one of the most important parts of your LinkedIn profile.
Using an amateur photo or cropping a personal photo will rarely provide a good headshot. Instead, you can get a free headshot from the Piper Center!
Follow these steps
Request an appointment starting in the fall semester: drop by the Piper Center or schedule your own appointment using the link above.
Dress appropriately for your photo: appropriate dress is clothing that your field considers to be professional (i.e., the dress for careers in the fine arts careers may be different from that in business). The Piper Center can help you choose appropriate clothing for your photo.
Be on time: be ready to have your photo taken when you arrive at the agreed upon location.
Blazer Check Out
Check Out Steps:
- Sign the Agreement form
- Stop by the Piper Center to try on a blazer and confirm the correct size
- Check out the blazer with a Peer Advisor or Career Coach
More Information:
- The reservation is within 2-hours of the interview
- All blazers must be returned within two hours of check out, if not, your Ole card will be charged a certain amount for every hour that passes
- Only allowed for on-campus/virtual interviews
Pickup and return expectations:

- $10 dry cleaning fee if the blazer is returned in poor condition (visible stains, odors, etc)
- $50 late fee if the blazer is not returned within 24 hours of check out (students who check out on Friday will have until the same time on Monday)
- $150 replacement fee if the blazer is not returned after 3 days (considered lost/stolen)
