Why?
We realize that students inclined toward entrepreneurship often do not have a broad or ready knowledge of regulations that they will navigate in the launch of their businesses. We believe that student entrepreneurs can be effective public advocates. We believe that students mindful of regulatory considerations may make better choices about constructing their businesses so as to minimize the negative impacts of regulation. And last, but not least, we want to be sure that innovation and business growth do not stall in the face of government regulation.
What?
The Ole Ventures Regulatory Conference is an all-day event that offers students interested in entrepreneurship an opportunity to learn about key areas of regulatory interaction. Students will hear from experts in funding, legal, risk, governance, and economic development. Participants will have opportunities to connect with future entrepreneurs, professionals, and alumni in the industry.
