Wall Street Prep Certificate

Participate in the training program used by leading financial institutions! This online, self-paced training program is especially suited for students who are seeking careers in investment banking, mergers & acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance or equity research. It will teach you the core skills that will serve as the foundation for a career in finance. Learn and develop skills in Excel and engage in active learning related to financial forecasting valuation. The training helps participants master finance fundamentals so you can successfully launch your career.

Students who complete the Wall Street Prep Premium Package – six core training modules – and complete a 49-question final exam will receive a Wall Street Prep Certificate. This certificate is recognized by employers and can enhance your candidacy for internship and job opportunities.

Given the cost associated with the program, selected students must commit to completing the (estimated 40-44 hours total) of online training. It is strongly recommended that students work through the training at a reasonable pace and complete the training during the summer. Students will have access to the service for one year.

The specific objectives of this program are to:

Earn a certification in Wall Street Prep which is designed to prepare students for the demands of investment banking and other competitive finance careers
Develop structured problem-solving skills and deeper analytical acumen that employers seek
Enhance and refine strong verbal and written communication skills
Increase knowledge and comfort with more advanced skills in Excel, the primary tool used in finance.

The program is schedule for summer. Students will get access in early May and are encouraged to complete the program by the end of August.

Sophomore, junior or senior with a strong academic record. First-years may be considered to participate.
Strong interest in the subject matter and a good faith interest in careers in finance
