What is On-Campus Recruiting (OCR)? (And what it is not!)
Fall On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) is when corporate employers recruit on our campus to fill job and internship openings for a relatively narrow band of business roles, including: business analysis, data analysis, management consulting, finance/banking, actuarial science, technology, certain healthcare analyst roles, and a few other miscellaneous positions. Employers are typically larger corporate organizations who are able to consistently predict their hiring needs far in advance.
The spring recruiting season (kicking off in early February) is when most students begin to see a wider band of business opportunities appear. So, if the fall roles don’t seem relevant to you – not to worry, your recruiting season will be later in the academic year.
If these roles DO interest you, the OCR season begins right away in mid-August and September (and broadens in February) so it’s important to start as early as possible.
Fall Recruiting Opportunities are typically for sophomores, juniors, and seniors – but first-years are invited to show up to learn about the employers and opportunities for the future.

On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) EmailDigest
The On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) Email Digest is the primary communication tool that you can rely on to learn about events and job and internship opportunities from employers who are actively recruiting at St. Olaf.
The OCR Email Digest is usually sent out weekly but may be sent out when important, time-sensitive information is available.
When you see this banner, you’ll know to read carefully to ensure you have critical information to access opportunities.
Are you not receiving the OCR Digest and would like to? Please complete the On-Campus Recruiting Communication OPT IN Form or email Bryan Shealer (shealer).
If you would like to OPT OUT of this communication, please request this HERE.
