Program Overview
In today’s workplace, there is a critical need for employees to understand how issues of DEI impact their work, and the work of their colleagues. Through exposure to DEI within their area of focus, students will learn that teams with many backgrounds and perspectives result in better outcomes, and encourage active listening, empathy, and connection.
Ole Career Launcher and the Piper Center for Vocation & Career are partnering with the Taylor Center for Equity & Inclusion and Human Resources to bring Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion training to the student employees of St. Olaf College. This professional development opportunity for student employees, developed by Taylor Center staff, uses a train-the-trainer approach so that the program can be tailored to the nuances of the department and student work environment.
