Meet with a coach in the Piper Center! Zoe Davis supports students who are interested in pursuing opportunities related to ministry, as well as students who are interested in participating in service programs, including those which are faith-based.
You may find it helpful to discuss your interest in ministry with a pastor, religious leader, spiritual director, or other members of your community, church, and/or family. Here at St. Olaf, consider speaking with pastors Matt Marohl and Katie Fick in College Ministry.

What types of roles are there for students?

There are a wide variety of opportunities available at St. Olaf!

Here are a few examples:

Leadership roles including Junior Counselor/Resident Assistant positions in Residence Life, Peer Educator in the Wellness Center, Peer Advisor in the Piper Center, TRIO Upward Bound summer staff, teaching assistant and tutor positions with the Center for Advising and Academic Support
Program or Office Assistant roles in Human Resources, Financial Aid and Student Accounts, the Government, Foundation & Corporate Relations Office, and through community-based work study with local nonprofit organizations
Gain experience in professional communication with stakeholders as a Student Development Officer in Annual Giving or as a Tour Guide with Admissions
Event management roles in a wide variety of departments, including Admissions, Alumni & Parent Relations, Athletics, Theater, the Taylor Center for Equity and Inclusion, and Camps, Conferences and Events
