Norwegian 112 is a second semester Norwegian course and focuses on introductory Norwegian vocabulary, structures, and culture. The topics we will be studying are family, housing, work, health, and travel.
Students continue developing proficiency in spoken and written Norwegian, increasing their vocabulary, improving grammatical accuracy, and gaining experience reading and listening to authentic materials. Prerequisite: Norwegian 111 or equivalent. Offered annually in the Spring Semester. Some years we also offer this course over interim.
We use the Sett i gang curriculum in this course, both the print textbook and the online portal. To learn more about this curriculum package can be found here.
Typically we have between 75-100 students enrolled in second semester in multiple sections of Norwegian each semester.
