Since 1982, St. Olaf Classics students have successfully staged 22 ancient Latin or Greek plays in a musical mixture of Latin/Greek and English, taking the show on the road to other schools and colleges in the area.
St. Olaf Classics Play MMXXIV
Sophocles’ Ichneutae (“The Trackers”), an ancient Greek satyr play, will be performed (without the satyrs!) by St. Olaf Classics students on April 24-27, 2024. The humor has been adapted to suit K-12 and college audiences. Running time = 45 minutes. No knowledge of ancient Greek is necessary for enjoying the show.
